Sandman1957
I have not followed BAR prices in a very long time. I just came across this recent RIA sale, that seems to have gone for more than most would have thought. It looks like it has a ambidextrous selector switch etc. Would love to hear everyone thoughts on this. These guns will be 100 years old next year. https://www.rockislandauction.com/detail/71/1527/marlin-rockwell-corp-1918-barattachment=18670:WWI BAR Brit 1.jpg]attachment=18673:WWI BAR Brit 4.jpg]Sandman1957 Edited October 9, 2017 by Sandman1957
Annihilator
This is not the selector switch but the pin that holds the trigger group
johnsonlmg41
It has a number of issues. Wood problems, missing flash hider, barrel date seems off? Looks nice.....from far though. Price is whatever someone wants to pay.
StooperZero
Everything they sell goes for an outrageous price. They get a hefty cut too.
Sandman1957
So, if this sold sans buyer fees and seller fees what would you think it would go for, if you were the buyer, what would you say the value would be. The Machinegun price guide does not take into account whether BARs are WWI vs WWII or manufacturers such as COLT, Winchester, or Marlin Rockwell etc. I'm not knocking the buyers guide, these most likely don't sell enough to get more sample data. I was thinking 33 - 35 on this one.
