jim c 351
Phil,I monitor the Win SL site on GB every day.For a long time a similar rifle was posted at around $1500.00. Very recently the $1500.00 rifle disappeared and the $2000.00 appeared appeared. Can't swear they are the same rifle, but wouldn't be surprised if they are.I can't remember if the original Lebmans had a Pachmyer recoil pad. Maybe Sandy knows. Jim C
StooperZero
real question= is it worth it? VS sending your gun out and having the lebman job done to it?
OCM
No they did not Jim, plastic. I'm damn near positive this is one of the repos that Tom at Bull Creek was doing and selling. They were selling them for 1200-1500 depending when you bought one. I've got one from Tom and built a Dillinger Tucson - type model from parts I got from Tom. Posted over in the Lebman thread here. OCM
Hacksaw-On the advice of others I sent my 07 model to Tom and had him cut the barrel and insert the recoil disk. He also went thru the rifle. Then sent it back to me and I built from there. However they completely restore the gun in every detail they were selling . I wanted mine to look like the one in Tucson today or one like it today. You would also need to have the metal front and the comp. Both would be extremely $$$ one off. These two items are the keys to make one yourself and as far as I know, not available anymore. This one , as Jim asked has the padded recoil pad, not so on originals. Also the front grip is incorrect, easy fix tho. You've seen both of mine on the forum anyway. OCM Edited June 18, 2017 by OCM
