I may be seeking the impossible but, does anyone know of a surviving FBI case for the Colt Monitor? I would also be interested in any pictures and or the specifications and drawings the FBI provided Kansas City Trunk & Case company. Im sure the bureau has some of these items but I havent had any luck tracking them down. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The goal is to reproduce a few of the cases if possible. I do have one picture (attached) but no others have turned up so far.

Thanks,

Thanks David:

I would like to take a look at it, maybe this fall. For some reason there hasnt been any interest in reproducing them. That surprises me a little because they are not commonly found. The other problem is the hardware. Supplies of original hardware are gone forever. I have to scrounge for used pieces that can be restored and theres not much of that anymore.

Its unlikely that all the Monitor cases were destroyed. There is probably a survivor out there somewhere. And, still no luck tracking down the drawing but the search goes on...

Thanks,

It's good to see that your still in the hunt. What progress have you made with my tracing drawing?

Thanks.
