Looking for a PKM ejection port pin and,or does anyone know the diameter?

I can locate the cover and spring.

If any of you guys have these parts or know of anyone who does.

Thank you in advance.

Also, the charging handle sticks when locked forward. We cannot get it to charge the bolt and carrier to the rear. We can move the bolt/carrier from the top with the top cover open.

Any suggestions?

Found all the parts that we need. Pin, ejection port cover and spring.

Gonna order an Armorer’s manual for PK series and get down to the nitty gritty. Decided to get a NOS PKM charging handle.

It seems that PKM information is difficult to come by on the web, other than the usual. Specs, history of the PK series and videos with some better than others.

When stripped down, it’s a pretty basic AK weapon. Some use the term an upside down AK 47.

All is interesting and can never stop learning.

I was looking for some parts and have an issue with the charging handle. It is stuck in the forward position and we cannot get the the bolt/carrier to go back into battery.

We can charge the bolt carrier by opening the top cover and pulling the bolt back manually. We just went ahead and purchased a NOS charging handle. Hope that does it.

All indications it appears Hungarian built factory post sample. Doing a FOIA to find out when it was imported or manufactured, if it’s a remanufacture. We’ve found no obvious tell tale signs that it a reweld; and it’s definitely not a converted semi receiver or other build. We have had and still have factory imported post samples. This weapon gives all indications, that it is so.

Interestingly enough, the NFRTR has the incorrect information in box 3a on the Form 3. We contacted the company listed on the eForm 3 and they informed us that it’s not their manufacture. The company markings on the weapon is different than what’s currently on the paperwork. So with a statement from the manufacturer of record, detailed photos, current eForm paperwork and our request for correction in the NFRTR. That should do it.

We’ve had some transfers delayed for paperwork corrections as the information on the Form 4s did not match the information in the registry. Same boat, different cabin.

APEX Gun Parts sells PKM manuals, translated into english.
We also have barrels and parts in the PKM category.
In another week we will have the pin and spring for the ejection door as well as rivet sets.
I suppose we should also carry the new US made charging handles.

If anyone has suggestions for parts APEX should stock, I would appreciate knowing that.
