Got Uzi
With the purchase of the Marlin-Rockwell a few months ago, and the urge to buy a Thompson has taken hold, Ive decided to let my Colt DEWAT Digger go. Heres the ad on Sturm. http://www.sturmgewehr.com/forums/index.php?/topic/14082-1914-colt-automatic-gun-potato-digger-dewat/ Pictures would really help a lot with your sale. They are already not a high demand guns, and you say the outside is rough, and it's a DEWAT, so you want to show as much as possible to get attention to it to help you sell it and get the most for it. Good luck with the sale!
Black River Militaria CII
I recall that the gun came of an auction with many fair condition DEWATs, but have forgotten the auction and dates. Please post info if you know it. TIA
Got Uzi
It came out of an auction in Florida last November. As stated the outside is rough but the internals are beautiful.
PTRS-14.5
The Centurion Auction in FL. Many of the dewats were very nice... IE pps43 and marlin digger. The 1914 Hodgkins was decent and all matching with matching mount. They are still out there on the Web. CharliePTRS

Black River Militaria CII
Many thanks UZI, exactly what is needed. So, different gun from the one I thought it might be.Basic questions......Does the action function assuming all parts are there? If not, what's missing? Is barrel clear from muzzle end to welded chamber breech? Or?Can't see the bolt in the pics so is it in the receiver, damaged or not?TIA for answers, observations, etc..... Got Uzi
Barrel is clea-plug is approx 1/4 I gotta long going into the chamberFunctions correctlyNo parts missing other than one small screw inside All the springs are right and tight as well Has the VERY mild chamber plug and 2 little beads of weld that would pop off with a hammer and punch which “hold” the barrel to the receiver. 67ray
Ok so its not a Thompson but it is a very early Colt machine gun. Needs a lot of love but it will be a fun restoration project. https://m.proxibid.com/category/resources/mobile/item.html#itemList|event|live%20&%20prebid|153407|mobileRedirect||null|1|0|45761331 Yes I know I posted this on the wrong section....
