My Type 99 Arisaka

Recommended Posts

I tried uploading my own pictures, but for some reason, now my camera isn't working connected to my computer. The seller on gun broker took good pictures a couple months ago when I bought this gun, so they'll do just fine. I hope that is not a problem. It definitely shows wear on the outside, but it is matching, with it's dust cover, mum, and monopod. I took it shooting, and it shot great too, and internally is excellent. This gun definitely has a story or two. What do you guys think? And I'd love to see what you all have. Thanks!

Very nice! I was waiting for someone to post something on Arisakas. I plan on adding one to my own collection some time.

i took me a while to find one with all the parts and matching, but when I saw this up for sale about 3 months ago, I wasn't going to let anyone else get it. It's got everything I wanted, with the perfect amount of wear to me. Fun guns, and now I want MORE! Haha!

You did well with the rare, matching dust cover. My understanding is most were chucked, since they can be noisy. I have an Arisaka 99, but the dust cover is reproduction. I'll take some photos. I also like Japanese Bayonets.

Very strong action, and great shooters. I like it!

I have a mint 1943 Nagoya T99. Evidently, whoever was tasked with grinding off the mum got lazy as most of it is still there. By 1943 the monopod and anti aircraft sights were history.
