how to keep pins from falling out

Recommended Posts

yes...all correct....even on my mp40 i had a pin for the stock that could partially fall out

the mag loader pins are all very loose...tip it over and 2 of them fall right out

i tried banging them in and flaring them more with a punch, but did nothing....

gun is at OOW....its been there for 2 months...im sure they will handle the loose pins on the gun---i prefered the gun go to you!....but did not hear back from you for 2-3 weeks, so it had already been mailed to OOW by the time you got back to me...sorry Robert....i know you are the guy to go to for mp40's.....hopefully OOW will do a great job also---im expecting them to start my gun in 1 month from a recent phone conversation.

this is the loading tool

ive never worked with rivets...im not going to buy a tool to do 2 rivets....is there a way you can fix this w/o a tool?

heres a pic---its 2 out of the 3 that are loose

since im sending OOW the barrel for my gun i may as well send them the loader to fix.....i got the loader for 1/2 price....so ill still probably be ok....not like i can use it anyways w/o the gun...

i may take the loader to my local hardware store...see if they can do it in the back room while i wait...they are good for that type of stuff..

thanks for the option of sending it to you!...

no big deal on the mp40....i figured i annoyed you too much on the forum and you didnt want my business.....which is ok...as a small business guy i turn down people if i think they could be a problem customer.........i have yet to hear anything neg about OOW and they are around 3 months booked out right now.......another one of my guns is at 8 months now and making me a bit crazy for the long wait...
