Very nice and the price is in the ballpark . I don't recall anyone posting a shooting post on one of these . Shooting it would drastically affect it's value . Look but don't touch .

We know Ohio Ordnance guns shoot extremely well. They didn't do but a few of these Colt 1918s. I would think none of them have been to the range. If you want a Non NFA 1918 BAR this will be one of the few you will find. The early ones they did were not licensed "Colts", and they don't come up often for sale. If they do I am sure they will be over the the 6k range if not more. Once all the parts kits were used up, they isn't anymore to be made that had original GI parts.

these are nice.
i almost bought one but went with the standard 1918a3 instead cause I knew i'd be dragging it out to shoot.
these are too pretty to take to the range to get wet/filthy and shot till they're too hot to hold on to .

The early 1918s were made from all original BAR parts, and blued. Mine is made primarily with Winchester parts, all the primary external parts, barrel, sights etc. Stunning gun, shoots well.
The Colt licensed Colt Commercial BARS are, I think, OOW built under the Colt license. I think means no idiot marks from investigation. Heavy stunning weapons as well.
