It is a unique source of extremely valuable information, and it has a good personality that we have all developed and contributed to with our posts. I could use a few donations at the moment to close out the year, if you feel inclined to help out. I truly appreciate any donations that are made to the site.For those who would like to donate, I have the following donation groups for the board:Board Donor:You choose the amount you wish to donate (any amount from $5 up to $49.99), and you will have the "Board Donor" group label appear by your name on the left hand side of the screen for a 2-year period. You will see your group name change as soon as I log the donation. You will have an "L-Drum" appear in your member information pane, visible to others.Board Benefactor:If you wish to donate $50, you can become part of the "Board Benefactor" group, which will make the "Board Benefactor" group label appear by your name on the left hand side of the screen for a 2-year period. (You can donate more if you wish) You will have a "C-Drum" appear in your member information pane, visible to others.Thanks in advance for your donations towards the maintenance of the website. I don't want anyone to feel pressured into donating. I set the 2-year timeframe on the subscriptions so that they will have a reasonable end date.Becoming a "Board Donor" or "Board Benefactor" does not grant any special privileges; it only changes your group name assignment, and hopefully provides you the satisfaction of contributing towards the maintenance and improvement of the site. All board rules still apply to all members, no matter to which group they belong.You do not have to donate to enjoy this website. However, if you would like to donate, I appreciate it. The main way to donate will be through PayPal.To donate through PayPal, you can forward a donation (include your board name in the title) to me at the following e-mail address:dalbert@sturmgewehr.comIf you would like me to send you a PayPal invoice, which can make it easier, just send me an e-mail. I noticed that there were 78 members who have logged in today. If half of those members have PayPal accounts (like I do), and donated $5 to the boards, that would go a long way to helping David offset the time and costs. Just sayin'! colt21a Posted December 29, 2013 Report Share Posted December 29, 2013 (edited) Rust my small donation of $200.00 will help out a little. since I got slapped with over $200,000.00 in med on myself and Wife, in the past three years.that is all I can do. and no matter what you make you can never be prepared for that. And if some say hey thats no big deal.. paying off med bill's. then let them send me a freaking check. I also donate to the P-38 forum also. and the Church. and the dogs and cats fund. and whomever else. When I leave this planet I will at least know I helped a few with something's.so the $5.00 you sent I am sure is appreciated by Dave. as I threw a few buck's in salvation army buckets this year. shopping at FRY'S the buck store big lots and world import's. I said to everyone of those people there ringing the bell's. yeah if everybody gave a buck..and the response was thank you sir. and yes but we only get about one in ten that walk by.
