The1930sRust
Invited three Troopers from our Marijuana Eradication Unit to shoot my West Hurley Era 1928 and Savage M1 today. They brought their own ammo. We fired close to 300 rounds through the two, and only had one failure to feed. Not too bad considering we did four drum dumps. My joy of seeing others fire a Thompson was reassured.... bill luongo
What is the serial number of your WH? The reason I ask is that I know of only two other 28's beside the the eleven that I special ordered without compensators or crossbolts through the butt stocks. Just wondering if it's one of mine? darrylta
Rust's PK'd WH28 is a rare bird. Not all of PK's reworked guns get the Diamond stamp.-Darryl
The1930sRust
Yes, I do have the Diamond K stamp proof. Mine is 338TF. 1986 .22 convert. I have an original 21 actuator with a PK spring guide thingy. I cannot comment on the beanie hat..... Rust
darrylta
Even though I asked PK to stamp my guns, he elected to not to, stating that only a select few get his diamond stamp.Rust,I'm jealous.-Darryl

buzz
Nice. I shoot about maybe 500 rounds of 9mm every time I take my UZI to the range. maybe 5 or 6 times a year. 3000 rounds a year. How long would a Thompson barrel last at that rate?

bill luongo
Rust, thanks for the info. Mine were all in the 2870A range. Mine has 21 parts in the reciever GI parts in the lower had a friend Knurl all the rocker pivots and safetys and pinned the front sight on the one I kept for myself. Fit and finish varied on all the guns I refit the wood on most and kept the worst one.
