I am looking for a display barrel for a wall hanger.  It cannot be a shot out or welded up barrel.  Basically a steel rod and that other than not being reamed, is 100% accurate and fits to a receiver and allows mounting of associated parts.  Can someone point me in the direction of this elusive item?  Thanks.

I am hoping that all was still standing upright when you go back to your property after the fires.  If so, I would like to engage again about the possibility of the dummy barrels.  Thank you.

It's none of my business, really, but why not a welded up barrel? I'm in Texas, too, and can't think why such a thing wouldn't be legal. It's the receiver that is a firearm, not the barrel?
