ACBurke
I have an M3A1 kit that I've had for years & it's time to let it go. I am having a very difficult time finding an accurate value for it. It is complete & not cut through the magazine well. Would the folks who are more knowledgeable than I on the boards please give me a ballpark value for such a kit? Thanks,Andy
Frank Iannamico
I have seen them for $600.-700.00. However most of the transferable grease guns are the M3 model, not the M3A1, so many parts are different: bolt, ejector housing, safety cover etc. I bought one years ago for $99.00 w/ chrome Vietnam era barrel. smkummer
The most value would be for the barrel if its good, and double that if it is a chrome barrel. If it has the stock with the magazine loader, that would be next in value. Then maybe the action springs. As stated, the M3A1 bolt has so few needing a spare. Your best bet may be to run it on gunbroker for someone else wanting a complete kit.
jim c 351
The bolt may not be in demand but the extractor is quite valuable.jim c
Got Uzi
Action springs can be bought NOS off GunBroker all the time. The part that will make an M3 kit worth more is how it was demilled and if all the parts are there for the receiver. SOT's like to weld them back up if there is enough to do so. That being said, there is a nice Post Sample Guide Lamp on GB for $2,000 and no one has bid on it yet.
tal35
I bought an m3 kit that was saw cut for $600 a couple month's ago. I might have interest if the price is fair.
