TDF
While attending a large local gun show this past weekend, I happened to notice a refinished 28 stock and vertical forgrip with hardware, these were in a locked glass case. The price was $995.00. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/laugh.gif Oh yes!, this guy was dead serious. Maybe everyone is looking for Thompsons in the wrong place, try a jewelry store. Hope everyone has a GREAT Holiday Season. TDF
Sgt
TDF-- Did you happen to ask about the items? Sometimes people who have such things have a good story to go with it.
Arthur Fliegenheimer
If this were Colt 1921/28 wood, then the price was a bargain.
TDF
No guys, this was just military wood that had been refinished. Actually, from a 1928 A1 with sling swivel. This guy was just trying to soak somebody. There was also no story or papers to go with it. Churchill didn't evev hold it in his hand. TDF
