67ray
What can we know about this frame from the pictures? It is supposed to be Savage and I am wondering about the parked frame and blued components. Is it worth it to pick up?And if so how much.
reconbob
Looks good to me. There should be a small "S" on the bottomside of the frame behind the grip if it is Savage. But looks like aG.I. Frame. Bob
Frank Iannamico
Savage frames have the words FULL and AUTO on two separate lines, while Auto-Ordnance Bridgeport guns have it stamped on a single line.
TSMGguy
Looks like the frame was renumbered. Remains of the mostly obliterated original serial number can be seen. The font used doesn't look original. Frames were parked during arsenal rebuild, but not renumbered. Serial numbers got mixed in the refurbishing process since no effort was made to keep matching numbers together.
TD.
Does the Trip look bent to the left in the one photograph. Or is that just a weird camera angle or distortion?
mnshooter
Does the Trip look bent to the left in the one photograph. Or is that just a weird camera angle or distortion? Camera angle & downward slope of the trip creates that effect. Gap of right side of trip alongside frame is consistent. 67ray
If this is straight, no bent parts, stripped threads etc. is it a good spare? What would you value it, for a spare?
full auto 45
One of the Russian parts kits I have picked up over the years. Two lines and looks parkerized. And with paddle levers.
