jim c 351
Just finished watching NRA President Wayne Lapierre's speech to CPAC.I thought it was quite excellent and give Wayne an A+.It was so good that I'll bet even Roscoe will at least give him a C+.Instead of defending AR15s he attacked the left.Anyone else see it??? What did you think??Jim C

John in IN
I too thought it was a great speech. I was going to switch to CNN to see their reaction afterwards, but then I thought, No, I don't want to listen to that gibberish right now. timkel
Dana Loesch also gave a great speech. CPAC is always worth watching.
RoscoeTurner
More interested in what he actually does than what he has to say. After the back stabbing he gave NFA owners in 1986 he has a lot to make up for.

RoscoeTurner
1986? 31 years ago? It is called the Hughes Amendment, like the high price of machine guns? If so thank Wayne LaPierre and complain no further, he pushed through the FOPA of 1986 and did not object at all when the Hughes Amendment prohibiting the introduction of additional machine guns to the civilian market was added to the legislation. johnsonlmg41
Follow Wayne's track record. He's pretty much all about the over and under shotgun, everything else can be thrown under the bus based on his actions, not his speeches. Dumping bump stocks is Wayne's idea, not Trumps. He's like McCain, stayed too late at the party and is now a joke to those who follow the second amendment.
Petroleum 1
There is definitely a ground swell against assault rifles like i have never seen before. There is some heated debates going on in the non nfa circles online. I wonder where this is going and if cooler heads will prevail. The antis dont really have to amend 2a they can just make laws at the state level and get the same results. I dont really understand how a state can pass a law that infringes on our 2a rights. There is complete rep domination in Washington but yet we are struggling to keep the rights we already have. Ugh
Paladin601
I do not trust La Pierre one bit, he has stated that he supports a ban on fully automatic guns, I do not agree with that. And did not agree with his "jack booted thugs" Remark. He has done more harm then good. And I feel Lee, was an overrated General and liked P.T. Beauregard as commanding General.
