full auto 45
Damn! I see this posted on a board and it was sold in the hour. Guy emailed immediatly after he posted and it was gone! I guess 11,700 was a good deal. Anybody here have a GI BAR? And are they worth it? G.I. BAR
Bob
Hi, A Group Ind. Bar is a reproduction. I have a NESA 1918A2 that is currently dressed up as a 1918. It is a hoot to shoot, very fun manly kind of beast. I took it to the winter shoot at Albany, Or. and I don't think it sat on the table for more than ten min. Someone would come up and want to shoot it http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif Think 12k for any F4 BAR would be par for the course and up from there for a Royal (if you could find one) NESA (probably most of), Marlin, Winchester and Colt
21 smoker
I agree Mike,Bob...my NESA doesn`t get much rest these days... this weekend is our WWII reanactment and MG shoot at our club range and I guarentee it will be a smokin`all day...so many cars,so many bullets...so little time! Prices for BARs are keeping pace with TMSGs, that`s for sure....seems like we always wish we could have started collecting NFA when we were wet behind the ears...at least that`s how I feel.my .02,out. full auto 45
If someone has a G.I. BAR they wanna sell for about $10k, let me know. It's maybe a while before my Thompson deals go through. PD's always take so long to get the paper work done/started.
Chopper28
Hi Mike, A friend of mine has a NESA 1918A2 that he let me shoot. It is a real hoss. Two rates of full auto fire, mild recoil and the power of that thing is unreal!!!! Almost makes the Tommy seem like a toy. Only downside is it would be a bitch to lug around all day, about twenty pounds loaded. But it is a blast to fire. Chris
