jmabele
So I starting using the Appleseed hasty sling method for shooting my 10/22 and my accuracy improved significantly while standing. Definitely stabilizes the rifle. Can this method be used for an SMG like an M50? Am I asking for a broken arm/collarbone/shoulder if I try shooting it this way full auto? StrangeRanger
Seriously?? The Reising is a .45 not a .30/06; it has no appreciable recoil. It does however have considerable muzzle climb so anything that helps stabilize it is a plus
emmagee1917
A SBR AR15 with an 8-inch barrel in .458 Socom firing a 500 grain pill at 1100 fps at maximum binary trigger speed hasn't hurt me, don't think a .45 would.Chris
jmabele
Thanks. My Form 4 is still awaiting approval and Ive never fired a MG before. Thought Id ask before attempting something with potential to injure me.
ppgcowboy
I can understand your asking. I was at a range shooting my AR and a few other toys, and was going to end my session shoot my Thompson 28 Navy when I noticed the guy next to me with huge Tattoo of an M1a1/M1 Thompson on his arm. So I asked if he new anything about Thompsons. His response was a complete load of BS that ended with how they are to control and he knows people who were knocked off their feet shooting one. I asked if he had ever shot one? He slowly replied no. Not wanting to burst his bubble my Thompson stayed in the case.Enjoy your Reising when it gets out of NFA prison. Fun to shoot they are. Shattered
Oooooh…I’dev burst that bubble. And then stamped on it by using the support hand wide open, not gripping the gun at all. Easy to do if you know how to shoot MGs.
