What Is Your Dream Thompson?

Recommended Posts

I'm with Kevin,

21 with the detachable stock and cutts and finned barrel and capasity to take drums. a side cocking handle ( sorry guys I hate to see the damn things recyprocate, or clutter a sight picture) And a M1A1 rear sight or one that is like a M1 Carbine peep that is adjustable for elevation. I'm just too far sighted to focus on the rear noch of a 21 sight. my focal lenght starts about the middle of the cocking handles traverse.

Brian,

I think that AF is just saying that this gun doesn't have a "very low serial number." If it were #101 it would tend to be more desirable than a high number; such as #10125.

Personally, I'll take ANY Colt Thompson I can get! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif

This is the same place had a Colt Thompson that looked like #7, it was really #7XXX. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/dry.gif

This is the first one I want. Purchased by a PD in 1927 from AO. Complete with original drum and paper work.
