stevenjay1
Good evening, I think I start off with something interesting. I'm look for information and value for the follow 2 WW-II Reising magazine pouches. One is a 3 cell pouch and the other is a 5 cell pouch, they look un-issued. These came from a friend who found them in her fathers belongs. He was a WW-II Marine. I've been told that these pouches are for a Thompson, I don't think so. Thanks for your help, here are some pictures.
Bridgeport28A1
The three cell web pouch is for Thompson magazines. The five cell web pouch appears to be a legitimate RM CO. Reising pouch.
emmagee1917
Yep , the riesing only had 12 and 20 rd mags , no 30s , so no 30 rd pouch for them . Thier 3 cell pouch were fpr the shorter mag and had standard snaps , not lift-the-dots . The difference between the Reising and Thompson 5 cells are easy to see . Note the strap of material the posts are rivited to . If it sets one strap width below the edge it is a Reising . If two strap widths below , it's a Thompson .. Yours is a Reising .Chris

Bridgeport28A1
Steve, I sent you a private message, look for a little envelope in the upper right corner of the web page. Usually doesn't show up in the mobile phone version.
