Whats going on at the FCSA?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone! For those who don't know me, my name Dave Moore owner of Spider Firearms and former member of the Board of Directors of the FCSA. Ive been getting messages and calls regarding some issues going on at the FCSA so Im reaching out to the membership (current and past members) to hear what you have to say, good or bad. Please feel free to share with me here in this thread or email me privately at info@ferret50.com

Thanks!

Yes, my question is wide open. Im open to hearing whatever current and former FCSA members have to say. Granted, this version of the forum is new but Biggerhammer is one of the older 50cal forums. Its likely that this post will be seen by old members as they shuffle in. Ill be posting elsewhere too because former members wouldn't be on the FCSA member forums and not all of them signed in there when they were members.

Im not coming out with sources and I will be keeping whatever information I gather private and secure. However, what I have been hearing for the past several months is credible, I can assure you of that.

BTW, Im already talking about this on the FCSA forum using the same handle. You and I have similar questions. We should talk sometime.

Thanks,

Dave

Another way to look at it is like this, whenever the FCSA board is down there's a message to use Biggerhammer!

BUT... Non members can't use the or view the FCSA board and the visitors section is ignored.

Back in the day Biggerhammer had all kinds of members, heck even manufacturers/retailers stopped by. How many remember Talon Tina, Jeanie from Lapua, Ammoman, AAA, Mark Serbu....

Now there's probably 100 times the people getting into .50's, most just want a little info starting out. It's up to the guys that have been around for awhile to show them the ropes. A little help goes a long way when you're trying to increase your membership.

Heck, I would buy VHP if they offered it to the public. Or they could offer just a membership for the magazine??? That might lead to people wanting to join... Just sayin

Same goes for the matches, let people buy in and who knows... They might like it and sign up as a member.

Yes, I do remember those days. It was on Biggerhammer that someone posted pics of my prototype which really got me into manufacturing. You make very valid points in your post and I hope that the powers that be within the FCSA can see how they have missed the x ring on this one.

I cant tell you how much I appreciate the input. This is the only way we can make changes over there.
