Nice site. It is like moving into a new house. I'm sure I'll stub my toe in the dark a few times before I learn my way around. Thanks for all your efforts. Rob

Also just checking to make sure I can post. So far it seems very nice, but I miss my American flag avatar. Also, I was wondering if we can all have our old post numbers listed. Thanks for the Board Nick and Frank. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/blink.gif

Finally! I kept getting messages that I was logged in but not authorized to post. Am I supposed to enter my User ID and Validation number somewhere? Or did clicking the emailed link do it for me? I guess it doesn't matter since I'm here now! Nice format, Nick. It seems to load faster too.

This is a fantastic format and beautifully done. I feel like I've stepped into a parallel universe. All of you are the evil twins. Love it!

Hey, very nice here. Now, if someone would explain just one more time how to post a picture here I promise to print and keep it. Explain the procedure like you are talking to someone who just discovered how to turn on a lightbulb.

Hi Nick,

TESTING, TESTING, TESTING ---- OK, ALL SYSTEMS GO.............

Had some trouble getting on at first, BUT LOOKEN GOOD NOW (thanks for the help). Still looking around at different stuff, the new board will work for me. Can I move my posts count and RKI Member to this board like LIONHART did?

Thanks,

Jim

Hi Guy's!!

I have been reading your board for over 1.5 years. I can't believe the amount of information that is so readily available from the members here, for a little advice, to in-depth takedowns.

I never registered before since I didn't own the full auto. I have noticed that there are a number of members out there with the semi's, so I figured I wouldn't be the only one to stand out in the crowd.

I have had my Thompson since 1991. No problems to really talk about. I guess I have been lucky, considering some of the other members problems with the 1927A1 semi. My 50 rd drum wich I purchased also in 91 for the small sum of $109.00 works fine along with all the 30rd stick mags.

I find that since I left Long Island, NY and moved to West Virginia, I have more time to sit out on the back deck and just let the Thompson sing.

My other interests are wildlife management, pheasant farming, remodeling this house that was a former zoo. Plenty of property and wildlife surrounding me.

Well that's about it!

1927A1

Steve

Just thought I'd check this out too! Like a lot of you, I don't usually have much to say, but I thoroughly enjoy reading all the great information and comments that you all contribute! Keep up the good work!
