stingray656667
Hello, I recently bought a nice vertical front grip with the long screw but I didn't notice that the threads on the screw were damaged. None of my standard re-threading tools fit the threads correctly so I'm guessing it is an odd thread. What thread is it and is there a source for the front vertical grip screw or does anyone have one that they would be willing to sell? Thank you. stingray656667
laurencen
believe its a 14 24tpi, available from a machine tool supply such as Acklands, if you have a thread file use the 12tpi side and it will work at a pinch Edited February 16, 2020 by laurencen

LSU Tiger
I've had good luck finding taps and dies that are basically one use on eBay.
