magazime catch spring replacement

I broke the catch on my airsoft thompson and couldnt find a replacement any were.

So since its supposed to be a 1 to 1 copy and after measuring a few spots on the real one it seemed to be I bought a real one .

but the spring is a little smaller on the arm that sticks out so I have to change it.

does it just press off the end or does the post screw out, I dont think it does looks like it's all one piece.

so I guess you just press the spring over the end of the post?

A GI spring will not easily slip over a GI mag catch post. Kahr will usually side right over each other.
