Semi-auto Grease gun -- reality or fantasy?

Recommended Posts

Someplace I came across information that someone is planning (or maybe only dreaming) to produce M-3s (or M3A-1s). I believe someone else produced a few back in the "day" -- maybe the '80s? -- but this gent is rumored to be planning current production (undoubtedly with an 18 inch barrel). Do any of the RKIs have any info on this. . .mainly whether there really is such a plan, its state of development, who the manufacturer might be, possible cost? HEY! There you go Bob (PhillyOrd)! A great new project for you! LOL!

The same outfit is back claiming to be the same people that took all those pre-paid orders and delivered only a few units . They claimed chapter 11 after the owner used the funds to pay off her house and other debts . They say on thier site they are the same people / company and they are taking pre-paid orders and not delivering again . I guess if you think the odds are too good at the casinos you might give them a try .

That was Valkyrie arms. Used to have tables at the creek until it started to steal money. Some of the guns worked, others did not. It still owes a number of people money and/or guns from years back and they have not forgotten. Your odds are much better at the casino, or if you dig hard enough there are some guns out there from the first run that pop up for sale from time to time.

I'm one of the suckers who has an outstanding order. I'm also one of the suckers that paid in full because she told me in July the gun would ship in August. It didn't. Then they took a vacation... Then they came back and said oh it'll be October. October came and went, I even waited until November to call them. Now itll be December. Begnning Of Janurary rolls around with nothing seen I called again and now it's looking like February. So they claim. She claimed that there was a death in the family and they were pulled away from working. Keep in mind all emails have gone unanswered since July and only about one out of twenty phone calls is answered with their voice mail being constantly full.

Go file a report with law enforcement and get it on record that you have been defrauded. This is very important and with that amount of money becomes a felony charge..

I bought an M3A1 Valkyrue grease gun in 2005 when I was a senior in college. I did an SBR on it and sold it not long after that. I was lucky to get the gun within two weeks of placing the order. Since then, I have hear horror stories about the customer service.

IT no longer shows up at the creek, guess they are afraid someone out there might still hit a woman if you can call IT that.

Sex change or not this is no way to run a business. At the risk of sterotyping, remember Bruce Jenner didn't have an auto accident until he bacame a woman.

File a fraud charge and hopefully you will see your cash returned or a gun that may or may not work.

Kilroy,

This situation frequently happens to men 29 and younger. Its happened to all of us.

Some day, when your 30, you'll be wise to these scam artists.

Hang in there.

Jim C

I'm 30 now....

In any event, I got a email from her on the 28th saying that she had several built and was finishing three more and just had to test fire and ship. But, haven't heard anything since then and I had replied asking for a tracking number once it shipped.

Took long enough! Does it work? Please post a report when you've gotten some range time with it! Congratulations! BTW, didn't some other outfit make semi-M-3s or M-3A1s quite a long time ago? I think they were made up from Ithaca surplus parts. . . Maybe in the '70s or '80s? Edited by gunhistorian

I almost had it submitted last night! But a friend of mine that has one said the ATF asked him for pictures of the serial number and model number so I figured I would just add the pictures before they call me threatening to deny it. I'll hopefully have it submitted tomorrow. Don't know it it shoots yet. It dry fires ok though.
