bob241
Send a PM to reconbob, a form member, he has been selling M1 barrels for several years, I think they are stevens, with the square S. It also seems his webb sight is down at this time.

lightguy
Shot a M1A1 a few days ago and in an airconditioned range and even so the barrel got hotter than hell.Even allowed time between magazines shooting other stuff. It takes awhile for that fat barrel to heat up but once it does it stays hot. Anyone use a finned 1928 barrel on a M1 or A1 or is this strictly verboten ?
Paceviper
If Reconbob doesn’t have the barrel in question. Richard at Tommygun collectibles had some NOS Savage and Stevens barrels. Not sure about other makes. The one I got was stone mint.....Jimmy

Gaffshot
I bought a $80 new unfinished M1 barrel from green mountain and had it sent straight to BWE who put a nice park finish on it. Looks and runs great and I'm done for under $200.
Paceviper
The original NOS barrels are more expensive and will be in a matte blue DuLite finish. If you have a parked receiver it won’t match. Depends on how authentic you want the gun to appear......Jimmy
APEXgunparts
APEX has M1A1 Thompson barrels that I have not gotten listed yet.In fact, I have an entire rack full of Thompson parts for various models of that SMG.This is the category to watch... https://www.apexgunparts.com/machine-guns/sub-machine-guns/more/thompson-45-acp.html Richard
