WW1 The Deadly Water Cooled Machine Gun

Recommended Posts

"In this West Point video, Lt. Col. Arthur Alphin explains strength and weaknesses of the water cooled machine gun. Unique to this type of firearm, the water cooled machine gun is the only machine gun capable of indefinite sustained fire. In 1916, The British Army's Machine Gun Corp's 100th Company fired their ten water cooled Vickers machine guns continuously for twelve hours only stopping to change barrels and reload ammo belts."
