Recommended Posts

Sig, ... sorry I missed your visit,I spend a lot of time at the museum. My friends and I painted the `Old Sparky` room and did a bunch of moving chores a couple a years ago.I go there often as I have several pieces on loan or in transfer at the museum.Bill Douglas is quite the class 3 historian and a real pleasure to deal with...he is a wealth of info...hope you had a chance to chat with him. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif

Mario, I couldn't agree more with you on your observation, concerning engraving Thompsons. If that is what floats the boats of some, so be it. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/blink.gif http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif Yet, they remind me of some cheap rip-off carnival gun, used to plink at metal duckies in a shooting gallery! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/laugh.gif http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif Regards, Walter

P.S. I couldn't care less that J. Curtis Earl once owned the, "Midas Thompson."
