Transferable M3A1 at James Julia Auction

Yes, I know. A lot of interest in these lately. I think Frank wrote in one of his books that these would be approaching and maybe passing the Savage and AO 1928 Thompsons. That may be exactly what's happening.

 

They are both (M3 and M3A1) fairly scarce guns compared to some of the other popular MGs, especially the Guide Lamp M3A1s. They seem to be in demand. Just have to keep watching what they do in the future.

 

I was looking in an old J. Curtis Earl catalog a few days ago; I think he had as many as you wanted for $450 each! Those were the days.

Here is a picture of it. I wont see it until after July once I get some paperwork in place.

 

If things go according to plan, my Medea M3A1 will be at the shoot in April.
