A Brazilian Guy Need A Help!

Recommended Posts

Hi all!! its my first topic in this forum, and i am get surprised with the quantity of posts!

Well, my name is Wagner, and i live in Brasil. So, i have 19 years old, and, for that i CANT have my own thompsom m1 http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/sad.gif

But, i can buy a replica you can say; no, i cant, the federal laws here in brazil deny ANY importation of guns replicas, air soft guns or something like... http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/sad.gif http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/sad.gif http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/sad.gif

Ok, i have decided to make my own replica... Using a "wooden peg, spigot, lathe" (i dont find the correct word in the dictionary) in aluminium, or steel and wood, but for that, i need some measures, and pics that show details hard to find on internet... Like te measure of the receiver, or the Buttstock.... How i could make a good frame?

My plans is to make a non-fireable replica, single, but beautyfull....

I will try to search here in the forums for more informations, but, who can help me,please!send esquematics, pics, measures for me!!!

Hello Wagner and Welcome to our board, http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I don't have what you need http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/sad.gif , but I'm sure if you look around on the different "guns for sale" sites like "GunBroker.com", etc. you'll find the prints for sale. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/ph34r.gif I've seen them before.

I'm sure some of our board members has them http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif , but if they send them to you, don't know!!.. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/huh.gif Remember, they had to track them down at one time too!!!..

Good luck & keep us informed on your progress. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif

Thanks tommy!

but i dont want the blueprints or something like... only some measures, to my replica be "good scaled"...

I will try to buy a thompsom m1 cd-rom, but for me,it will be veeeery expensive (dollar is 3xtime more expensive here in Brasil)

In this cd i will find all measures of each part?

Thanks again!

P.S: if someone here have the blueprints (thompsom M1),can you scan some parts and send on my mail? I will be gratefull and will put your name on my holydays cards list! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif
