"Hell yes, we're gonna take your AR, and your AK-47...!&#3

Recommended Posts

I'd never had any interest at all in owning an AR-15, mostly because I embarrased myself in the Army and didn't shoot expert with the M16. Don't think much of the platform, either, because it seems too complicated and over engineered. Then Beto (a locally produced embarrassment) shot his mouth off and I got motivated. I found that most sellers are sold completely out of AR style rifles. Filling backorders will probably take quite a while. The same for magazines and the most popular bulk 5.56 ammo. I finally found a Stag Arms 15L civilianized M4 at Atlantic firearms, and it arrives tomorrow. Like everyone else, Atlantic seems to be sold out of most other ARs and accessories. Reviews of Stag's offerings are uniformly positive, and I'm looking forward to owning and shooting this one. Thanks, Beto!

TSMGuy, I also never saw the draw of the AR 223 preferring walnut, steel and a .308 but with my retirement money I had a neat Seekins in 300blkout built. But then I discovered CNC Enterprises AR45, 45acp greasegun mag lowers and have done 3 builds using them. And am still tinkering around with a lewis gun build. I really enjoy the .45 pcc ar. Going to a zombie match at an indoor range this evening and plan on using my .45 sbr. You know the chinese curse may you have an interesting life. Its going to be an interesting next year. Good on you for getting one. Stags are good. My first one was a Stag Model 3 I waited a year or two once the "assault weapons" ban was lifted back in 2004(?). I love the platform because it is so versatile. You can do everything from CQC to long range precision depending on the build.

I enjoy building my own since I have all the tools to do so. There is so many calibers and things you can do.

I have read that AR 15's "are flying off the shelves" ... That said, I wonder what all of this will do to the machine gun market? One might not want to invest in a high priced priced weapon that might in turn be worth the $100 VISA gift card that the government will use to compensate the owner when forced to "sell it".

Additionally ... They need to quit using the phrase "Buy-Back" ...

I never really had a thing for the AR platform, but then I ended up with two of them. One was a cheap one that I bring along with me because people do not always want to shoot my more powerful surplus rifles. The AR platform a lot more shooters, especially beginners are comfortable with. I put a wood stock set and a Primary Arm rendition of an ACOG on it (not in the picture) just to jazz it up some. Then I recently built a M16A1 clone using a complete parts kit minus the lower.

My favorite aspect of this gun is the "Mr. potato head" thing it has going on. I don't have time to show my different looks but i can't even count them.

I actually collect uppers. I think i have a few of most of them. Only Colt and mostly A2's because that's pretty much the last year we could have the M16.

Very unusual for a democrap to be so honest. Beto is saying what all of them are thinking.

And that should give President Trump his re-election!

This would be the same President Trump that banned bump stocks by Executive Action, contrary to the specific wording of the National Firearms Act as enacted by Congress and thereby established precedent for outright banning of firearms and related devices without Congressional action? Be VERY careful of what you wish for.

I quickly ordered a complete A2 upper. It's back ordered, along with an A2 butt stock set. In for a penny, in for a pound!
