I have the spring and the actuator but I would like to installl them in my 1928 and I need the buffer parts to make it work. Thanks for looking. leid Posted December 16, 2004 Report Share Posted December 16, 2004 Hi Phil, I was going to do the same thing with my Savage '28A1, but PK on this board makes a better mousetrap. He has a hybrid buffer system that uses the '21 spring and actuator, but uses a much improved buffer system. I am sure it would be less expensive than an original '21 buffer and his will help protect your receiver to a much greater degree than the original.
