Anyone Hear From Doug Richardson

After an e-mail confirming a barrel order, I sent a check on Sept 30th and have not heard back from him.

An e-mail was sent asking for a status, but that has not been returned as well.

 

I would hate to cancel the check, but am sort of left with no other option and hope someone here has recently heard from him.

My personal experiences are much better calling him rather than email.

I sent off funds early October for an order I committed to, funds cleared about 10 days later.

Received my parts just last Friday.

I spoke with him last week at length. His last eye operation was a failure leaving him nearly blind in one eye. He is working through back orders as his health permits and doing his best at it. He expressed his displeasure with keeping people waiting for back orders and hopes to get caught up soon.

 

Give him a call, he is a facinating person to talk to about Thompsons.

 

As a side note, he said the '27 bolt handles have been flying off the shelf. He thought he made enough to last several years of orders and now is running low again!
