For those of you blessed to live in the Lone Star State, or nearby, check out the WWII exhibit at the State Fair in Dallas: http://www.bigtex.com/2004/entertainment/p...photography.htm

 

This is a traveling exhibit of WWII history, including 3 M1A1 Thompsons, a couple of M1A1 carbines, and other weapons and uniforms too numerous to mention. The only disappointment was a reproduction of a "Rat Patrol" jeep that used a new semi with the long barrel. (I also learned that the Rat Patrol was British, not U.S. as portrayed in the 60s TV show.) Other than that, they did a nice job. Check it out!
