Register To Vote! Tuesday Is The Last Day

Recommended Posts

Tuesday October 5 th is the last day that you can register to vote.

If you are not registered you cannot vote.

Remember how CLOSE it was last time. Your vote counts and it is important. If Kerry is elected it will be like the Clinton years all over again: Bans stopping of imports etc, etc.

Vote early and vote often...

I wholeheartedly agree with you Frank! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif Let's all get out there and get as many pro-Second Amendment people registered as possible. I have been talking to a lot of friends and family, in my quest to overwhelm the liberal fanatics. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/blink.gif Brian, as long as you did not change your residence, nor your party affiliation, since you last voted, you should be good to go! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/smile.gif Regards, Walter

Lionhart, mail is just fine as long as you do it!

Everyone here should ask 20 friends at work if they are registered. Odds are that we each will find a couple or three who don't vote. Encourage these individuals (unless you are sure they are flaming Libs...)!! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif

I haven't missed an election (big or small) since I turned 18.....

I just found out that you can still register until October 8th, if you live in New York! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/blink.gif http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif I would do it by the 7th, if at all possible. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif Regards, Walter

Brian, you should still be registered, particularly if you voted in the last general election. It use to be that, once registered, always registered. But some states have "improved" their voter purge methods in recent years. In Colorado, I believe if you miss a general election (maybe more than one, I'm not sure exactly), the local county registrar will mail you a post card that you must mail back; you will be purged if you don't mail it back.

Of course, if your address has changed, you need to notify the registrar whenever that happens too.

You can always call your local voter registrar (whatever name they call it locally), and check to make sure you are registered. You could also ask them what their purging methods are at that time, so you'll know for future reference.
