Colt M1919 AMR

Recommended Posts

Alan,

Well it seems that a knowledgeable person is not appearing to answer your question.

Like I told Sandy, the knowledgeable BAR people seems to have abandoned this forum long ago.

I can confirm that the Colt Archive service is no help, already tried them.

In Jim Ballou's book, a Colt archivist named Dick Baker is credited with searching the Colt royalty files and provided the information I listed above.

Have no idea who Dick Baker is and whether he is still alive.

Sorry no one can answer your question.

Jim C

My Form 4 arrived last Thursday the 19th. I cleaned, lubed and switched some parts and on Sunday I zeroed the sights, firing semiauto. The buttstock was made by "deerslayer" and the display stand was made by "Sandman". Should be all set to knock down plates on Aug 5 th. Eric,

Thanks, do you agree that it looks a lot better with the "deerslayer" butt stock, than the one it came with.

For me, well worth the extra money.

Jim C

Yes I do! I am still upgrading mine and only a few parts to go. No hurry, just enjoying the hunt.

Eric
