Early Knurled Selectors - eBay - Not Mine

Recommended Posts

Agree with huggytree - way overpriced, epecially for condition.

Did anyone note one lever is an early Savage, the other Colt's?

Interesting observation. What is the difference? Checkering?

i think the colts are hand checkered and the savages are not

im not on the level or TD to tell the difference...i figured they were for a S1928...in excellent condition id offer $100 shipped....i doubt these parts break?...maybe you have a S1928 that was robbed of these parts....but they would still need refinishing which hurts the value.....

people can ask anything they want...once in a while there is a buyer at any price...

i dont think ive seen them come up before as spare parts

The fire control levers on the Colt's and early Savage Thompsons are knurled. No hand checkering. However, the knurling on the Colt's looks like checkering because the diamonds point up. The diamond points on the early Savage levers are pointed down. All knurling, just different types or results.
