HeadShot
Hi all! I'm asking a question from the UK. I am fitting an original stock that I picked up from a Military Fair for £5 to an Airsoft M1A1 and was just curious as to what the markings on the buttstock signified. I have put some pictures on a website here: http://www.dogcompany.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/Stock.htm Any answers would be appreciated! Thanks in advance! HeadShot PS: I know the stock looks crappy but it's only for a toy replica so there! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/smile.gif
96lt1ss
The markings were most likely done during a rebuild, AA would be the Augusta Arsenal..not sure what the U would be for. JD is most likely the initials of who did the rebuild and the V144 would designate what branch or division that was for.
