In case anyone is interested, and tired of blasting virtual Nazis with an M1A1 on the MOH franchise games (excellent, I might add), there is a really neat PC platform based game called "MAFIA" (made by Illusions Software, I think) where you get to blast virtual gangsters in a fictional Northern town using all types of period-specific weapons, including 1921/28 Thompsons (complete with changable virtual L-drums that DO run out of ammo). You've got to do a lot of driving, but the long storyline has a good moral thread, and the action effects seem to be realistic (gunfire, recoil, etc). You can pick it up at Wallyworld for about 40 bucks, and it's good for venting those forum-board frustrations!

moh series is great! CoD is the greatest! and mafia is fantastic too! anyone have moh breakthrough and know if its worth buying?

I have both Spearhead and Breakthrough.. both are fun to play.. have some very hard places to get out of.. love the M1A1..but I think it takes too many hits to geta guy down with the BAR..

I have and finished all the MOH and expansion packs, Call Of Duty and even the Battlefield games.

They are all highly recommended.

My son picked up Mafia for PS2 and plan on playing tonight.

I can get ya off the beach colt...it's hard ..but not impossible to make it with 90% health...

Even on Easy mode it did take a long time and a big number of attempts to figure it out.
