This is a topic of discussion over on the 1919A4 forum.
Apparently coming from several trusted sources, including one friend who confirmed it when speaking to Kenny.
We talked to Gina a month or so ago and were told details of the show would be released in July.

Confirmed this story a couple of hours ago. Have not received a reply with the reason for the decision. I suspect that having cancelled three so far they learned that they didn't need the extra work and hassle to put it on.

I have that feeling too. Less stress, morons, and bullshit and seeing they made it thru with no shoot in 18 months is my guess. Its really sad as its not so much the shoot that Ill miss, but its the show, walking around and never knowing what treasure youll find, but most important its seeing my friends which I only get to see 2-3 Times a year

I might have to try and call in a favor to see if I can get my dad on the main line as his plan is to pull the pin on his retirement the day we leave to come down. Ill bring some belt feds for him to shoot, just need a spot....

Big Sandy is the other big machinegun shoot in the US.

It's held in Arizona near Kingman in March and October every year.

Big Sandy probably has 3 or 4 times the number of shooters, the line is much larger and more relaxed than KC (spectators can walk right up to it) and they have 10 to 12 or more live-fire artillery pieces, sometimes a half track (or 2) and often a tank or 2.

The shooting distances range from 50 to 600 yards or more.

Less vendors, but some ammo sales with hard to find tracers usually at a good price.

The notices from Knob Creek are starting to be delivered in the mail.
I guess that is why the participants on the east coast knew the story before us people living in the "cowboy states"
I am going to miss visiting with the people that I would only see at the show.

The only problem with shooters gauntlet is the shooting distance is very short its more a sub gun distance range. I know this is probably done on purpose to minimize stray rounds. Its way too short for some of the bigger stuff being shot there.

Maybe that WGBLLC (huggytree) will go there and buy up all the machineguns. He is a new class 3 who boasts he knows the market and he has $$$ for your Full Autos.

He says he is the next Ruben, MWT

I have attended many gun shows over the years, but never attended this one. I figured I would go to this one and take my younger son. Any tips or things to see? Thanks

Ft Knox is about 20 minutes away with the General Patton museum.
