Since Apex gun parts is a contributor to this forum I thought it would be a nice gesture to buy for his company.

Unfortunately it didn't go well.

I dialed the Apex phone number many times over the past 3 days, morning noon and evening. All I heard was the phone ringing and a disclaimer not to sell out of US. If all times were added up it would be over an hour.

So if any members here are thinking of buying from Apex this is what you may have to deal with. After a while it got to be a challenge to see if anyone would ever answer the phone.

 

Next I gave Sarco Inc a call and the phone was answered in less than 10 rings and the order was completed in a few minutes.

Sending this to the CS supervisor now.
We will look at the phone logs.
Either we are way busier than SARCO or.....

I've all but given up on Sarco. Most of what I've received from them in the last year or so has been repopped junk. Parts that simply did not fit and either required a lot of rework or just got trashed because it wasn't worth returning them. Never had an issue like that with any other vendor, Apex included

+1 for Apex on line ordering. Been doing a fair amount of business with Apex lately and all has gone well. The rare parts kit I recently purchased from them was extremely well packaged -- Much appreciated!

 

Glad to hear that.

The mail order work center has some "new hires" and the team lead has been training them to make boxes and pack product to the APEX company standard.

 

The Mail Order Supervisor met with the CS Team Lead after I sent over the comments from above (with my comments added).

They both came into my office with solutions.

We also have engaged our phone system provider to ensure we don't have something going on with hardware or the software that runs the phone system.

That will be tested.
