What bullets are you using since Rainier is out of business.

Recommended Posts

I like the Rainier plated bullets as they are kinder and gentler on the Thompson barrels.

Down to my last box and was going to reorder but found out they are no longer in business.

I know a few other members on this board were also fans of the Rainier bullets.

For those who previously used Rainier, what bullets have you switched to?

I hadn't heard that Rainier went out of business . Any one have more info on this.

I have used Rainier, Berry, and Xtreme plated Bullets and liked them all.

Sorry to hear that any company goes out of business, especially a gun related company.

Just Google "rainier bullets out of business" and you will get plenty of hits.

Apparently is was near the middle of 2019.

Penn Bullets will do a hard cast bullet that is specially coated to eliminate any leading in the barrel or cutts. Load with 700x powder, which is very friendly to cast bullets, and they do quite well, as good as copper coated in my experience.
