JimFromFL
I like the Rainier plated bullets as they are kinder and gentler on the Thompson barrels.Down to my last box and was going to reorder but found out they are no longer in business. I know a few other members on this board were also fans of the Rainier bullets. For those who previously used Rainier, what bullets have you switched to? mnshooter
Frontier Metal Processing and X-Treme are the two I use.I find them equal to (or better than) the other plated bullets out there.
Tiz
Penn Bullets will do a hard cast bullet that is specially coated to eliminate any leading in the barrel or cutts. Load with 700x powder, which is very friendly to cast bullets, and they do quite well, as good as copper coated in my experience.
