capt proton
Is there any interest out there for new production AO 50 rd drum for the Thompson. Police officer and FFL only. The cost is $220.00 ea shipped. shootingiron@hotmail.com
John Jr
Would be interested in a 100 round "C" drum from AO provided the ban sunsets, and they are test fired in a full auto prior to shipping and guaranteed to run with a lifetime warranty. $350 sounds about right. Arthur Fliegenheimer
John J, That is about as likely as you buying a Colt product.
John Jr
You got that right! Actually Arthur, I did recently purchase a colt product. Pick your mouth up off of the floor... its a colt m16A2 and the first thing I am going to do is jump up and down on it and then i am going to shoot the hell out of it. Too bad Savage didn't make M16s. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/tongue.gif Jr

JimFromFL
$220????? Wonder if that would be the price after the ban sunsets?
full auto 45
After the sunset, the FFL/ Police only drums will be back to $50, or less. The drums for us civies will be around $200. That's just because they know they can screw the public gun owner up the ass and we have to take it.
jenjass
If you can get the Chinese to make drums, then get them to make replacement parts for 28s and M1s. I'll buy them if they are cheaper.. Then you'll see prices really fall..
full auto 45
I would go for the cheaper drums if they work. Hell, I've got a couple of the Japanese 39 rounders that work in my '28.
21 smoker
Here`s a heads up on a WH `C` drum....saw it on a table at the Lakeland gun show saturday...dealer priced it at $2000.00!...but would discount it down to$1600.00 for cash..I said he ought to throw in Merle`s fee to make it work....needless to say he didn`t bite.I guess we will just have to wait for that next blessed event...The Sunset...out. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif
junglewalk
http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif Hey Mike; Full Auto 45 !!!.....I have never seen a Japanese 39 rd Drum!!...Can you post a photo, or email me a picture of one? Do you have them on your web page?... http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif PhilOhio; You are talking about the Red Chinese; A brutal communist regime. I remember looking over the bodies of dead NVA after a fire-fight, and us debating if some of these large, darker skinned NVA were that at all, but were surely Red chinese; none had papers/records/letters on them to give us a clue......I can still see the main gun rounds being fired from our tanks, into the bamboo ladden hard ground, where these'NVA' were dug in.......All the way from the smell of gun powder, diesel, & burning hay, to 36 years later, Red chinese hands making us Thompson drums........I see the 'made in china' labels on so much anymore.(where's the 'Red' china?).......... I can change with the times, yes, I can.........yes........I can..............jw dinosaur http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/huh.gif
JimFromFL
I wouldn't consider them that friendly. Sure they would sit down and talk with you until daybreak but it is only to obtain knowledge, start up a business then run you out of yours. full auto 45
Junglewalk, email me direct at mrhsharkeynospamers@worldnet.att.net, take out the nospamers of course. I will send you a couple of shots of a 39 round drum. Just for a good laugh, there was a guy at the last Indy 1500 gun show, don't know the dealers name but he is not from Indiana, that had a "very rare" 39 round drum. He fed me a line of shit so sweet if I didn't know any better I would have bought it right then and there! "These were used in everything from 'Nam to prison gaurds. Not as bulky to carry around for the soldiers or the police. And it could be yours for "only" $650. I usually sell these for around $800". I almost broke out laughing at the guy but just acted informed and educated by what he told me. I bet he has it at the next show here.
Arthur Fliegenheimer
There is enough material to serialize a book about gun show sellers inveterate BS to make JD Rowling jealous.
timg953
I'll give you a table at my shows if you publish a book gun show lines, hell I'll even contribute a chapter or two from a promoter's view point. I used to see what I refered to as the gun show rumor of the weekend. It would develop during set up on Friday night and build over the weekend. 1921A
Hey guys: I have not reviewed the magazine ban section of the law but I've heard if it does sunset, it will only apply to domestic magazines - not imports. Does anyone have any reliable information on that? Greg Fox
Incomplete
It effects all that were not made before 1994, no matter where it is from. So the magazine doesn't have to even be in the US currently, as long as it was made before the ban.
