but I wouldn't take 8K for it.. and neither would you..

I thought so too but I contacted them trying to lowball one of them and I was told that they had sold five at that price since Jan. There is no WH M1 there now so even if they were snowing me .. they sold the last one that was listed.
As I said , I should be allowed to make a reasonable profit without being chastised for it. Also I'm $1900.00 under their price.

I do hope you get your asking price. If your picture is anywhere near accurate (and usually gun pictures are worse than the real thing), you have a primo M1. Those being offered at a lower price are undoubtably being sold out of a need to sell fast or the gun is not in as nice shape as yours.
