john
Hey folks! Just thinking today about buying a repro web case to carry my 28 Thompson around in at Knob Creek, in the van, etc. and remembered that Sportsman's guide had them a few months back. I don't remember what they got for them and they don't appear to have any more. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/huh.gif A few months ago Mike had one for sale but I don't recall what he was asking.... What are they going for now? Are they decent/well put together? I realize they aren't too collectible but look as if they'd work well for carrying purposes (a sling is such a pain sometimes, especially with the vertical grip on the front!) TIA! john

full auto 45
I let mine go to board members only for $50. I gave $50 for it from IMA or one of those guys at the creek.

Roland, Headless Thompson Gunner
Ok 44.50, but that's my best offer!
sten guy
I have 2 of the reproductions. I bought one and got the other in a trade. Neither fit the 1928 well. The fabric is not as thick as the original. The stitching is also not as strong as the original. But they are probably worth $50 - 60, since the originals are so scarce and expensive. john
A friend told me that these repros fit the 21's OK but are a couple inches too dhort for the 28's....is this true? It'd be a bummer to buy one and not be able to snap it closed..... http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif john

First Sergeant
I have two IMA cases and both will snap with 28's having compensators. Nice cases to have but will admit, very seldom used. Chuck
