If anyone out there is watching Charmed! on TNT, there are two 21 or 28 Thompsons in the hands of gangsters (it's a 30's film noir episode).

The appearance was brief, but the Tommy's were barking their tune.
My wife commented that they were not only Thompsons, but Colt-made Thompsons, Model of 1921. She then decided it was sad (to her) that she knew that much detail. Thompsonitis infection by association, I guess.
Of course, I chose not to mention the likelihood that they were probably Westy '28s with blank firing adapters, or how the blank firing process works. Sometimes a spouse can only take so much detail at one time......
