timkel
I picked up a French MAS-38 parts kit. It is an odd ball SMG caliber 32Long. Just finished a dummy build to hang on the wall. Receiver is aluminum. Edited August 27, 2018 by timkel
av8tr
I have one, but I don't need any parts. Ammo is a problem. I have found some 7.65 French long form Buffalo Arms. But the problem is they use a jacketed bullet with an exposed a soft lead nose. I would get FTF after a few rounds, due to the soft lead hitting the feed ramp and deforming. timkel
I always liked this weapon. It is so ugly it is beautiful. Back in the 80's I saw a fully transferrable one in nice shape for $800.00 or so. The seller even included the dies for 32L. Still I passed on it due to the odd caliber. They say you can cut down the rim on a 32 S&W long case to make the French 32 Long. Edited August 26, 2018 by timkel
johnsonlmg41
You did a heck of a job making that receiver! I've bid a on a couple of these in auctions, but not yet a winner. It's the kind of ugly that grows on you sort of like my Chauchat's. A buddy had one years ago and he sold it before I knew what I was doing? ron_brock
I have reloaded the 32long as I have a 1935A. Dies from RCBS, but off hand I dont recall the brass I used. I need to check again and see. Its been a while since I loaded or shot any. Ron
av8tr
I have heard of using the .32 S&W. Not sure about the .32 H&R. I do not have dies for loading it.

However, the .30 Pederson has a slight bevel on the rim. This caused feeding issues with the Pederson Device we were shooting at the range. FarmerBurns
Over here in Europe I can get brass if anyone is interested. But it is ridiculously expensive ($90 for 50) Edited September 11, 2018 by FarmerBurns
eMGunslinger
Curious is your bolt have a pin and removable firing pin?I see that the spring has the weight with it as well.If it is would you want to swap bolts? I have been looking for the ones with replaceable firing pins etcIve got probably 5 sets of kits and would be happy to trade parts
timkel
The bolt assembly sold quickly. I believe it had a fixed firing pin. What plans do you have for your kits? Dummies or live weapons?
