Reising Reputation

Hey all,

 

We don't have to talk about the bad reputation that the Reising got when it went into combat with the Marines at Guadalcanal. Just about anything ever written on it from that time period is negative. What I am curious to know is if any other enthusiasts have ever heard anyone who served with one had anything GOOD to say about them.

I was watching some of the youtube videos and some of the folks commenting claimed that had a father of grandfather who had one when they were in WWII and that they liked it. One, as I recall, even said that they liked it better than the Thompson.

Just curious if anyone knew someone who liked their Reising.
