1918 Marlin Rockwell BAR sold at RIA 43K Sep 2017

Recommended Posts

I have not followed BAR prices in a very long time. I just came across this recent RIA sale, that seems to have gone for more than most would have thought. It looks like it has a ambidextrous selector switch etc. Would love to hear everyone thoughts on this. These guns will be 100 years old next year.

So, if this sold sans buyer fees and seller fees what would you think it would go for, if you were the buyer, what would you say the value would be. The Machinegun price guide does not take into account whether BARs are WWI vs WWII or manufacturers such as COLT, Winchester, or Marlin Rockwell etc.

I'm not knocking the buyers guide, these most likely don't sell enough to get more sample data.

I was thinking 33 - 35 on this one.
