45cal
What barrel length and overall length do I use when I E-File my 1927A1 and M1 Thompsons? On the 1927A1... is the compensator length included?
06AngusSG
The compensator only counts toward barrel length if it has been permanently attached according to ATF guidelines. If yours is just threaded and pinned that is not permanent. ATF measures barrel length by dropping a rod down the barrel on a closed bolt. Bender
45cal. Measure your 27a1 as it sits right now, then subtract 5.5 inches to get your overall measurement if your using a 10.5" barrel.
Black River Militaria CII
An SBR ID can go on the barrel which leaves the receiver free of spurious engraving if a later owner wants to return it to Title I configuration.
45cal
Thanks guys!I was about to E-File last night....I have a few more questions in regards to the manufacturer and model. Let me start by saying I have a 1927A1 from Auto Ordnance West Hurley, and I also have a M1 from Auto Ordnance Kahr Arms For the M1 Kahr Arms who is the correct manufacturer? Auto Ordnance or Kahr Arms? Also on both guns I'm not sure what the correct Model is.... Thanks in advance
