way cool!   I have a good friend who wrote three books about the brit / aussie , equipment , uniforms , weapons used during ww2.   I just looked up the austen smg and there is a picture of them fitted with silencers in borneo.

Very nice; congrats on the acquisition.  I always liked the adoption of the telescoping tube.  Hope you got an original loader; they are the best.  Do you keep the front grip panels off to keep them from breaking?

They are cool!  There is one here in pieces.....gotta get on that.     Now you have to find some magazines for it.  They tend to be fairly scarce.  I could use another one or two for mine.

Nope that was it straight out of the box - will get around to stripping and checking @ the weekend then off to the range !

Have one that came with it - however found one in a box of sten mags in work "heroically saved it "
